Seiko watches of this period have proven reliability, and solid stainless steel cases, as well as being larger than average from the period. HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in November 1967. CONDITION The silver dial is in great condition, as is the minute track (these can sometimes fade). The case back is also better than most the engraving on some parts of these case backs is quite deep and easily worn off, but not in this case. The bracelet is stainless steel and has a Seiko clasp, but the actual bracelet is a later replacement. Both the replacement and clasp have been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath. The 7625D Seiko movement is working well, and has the semi quickset date function (where you adjust between 21:00 24:00 21:00 to advance the date). These movements can not be hand wound, so rely on movement to keep them going. This watch will be supplied with our Certificate of Authenticity. Please see th e HD video for more detail.
